There was once a sculptor
whose name was Alfred. He
lived on the small island of
Zealand where he met a
beautiful women called Kaela.
She was really beautiful but
she was quite dull and quite
lazy. However, Alfred couldn't

2. take his eyes off her. He
visited her many times at home
and finally asked her to him.
Alfred and Kaela got married
and travelled abroad. They
visited many places and they
were very happy until Kaela got
ill. Her friend, Sophie, came
visit them. Sophie was not
beautiful but she was a good
housewife and a good friend.
She was also extremely kind
and helped look after Kaela.
Unfortunaltely, Kaela was
extremely ill and died.

3. Later, when Alfred married
Sophie, people were surprised.
“His first wife was very beautiful
but his second wife is quite
ugly,” they said. Alfred
disagreed. “It's true that Kaela
was very beautiful but beauty
of the body is nothing
compared to beauty of the
mind. Sophie is very
interesting, really generous and
extremely kind. These qualities
have made me lover her. To
me she is Beautiful, most
beautiful!”
