1. Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET)
IAI organize an Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET). This entrance exam is conducted for
those candidates planning to enroll as student members of IAI. Through the ACET the candidates
can get admission into the various programmers in accounts and further to make their career in the
fieldof Actuaries. ACET entrance exam is conducted for those candidates planning to enroll as
student members of IAI.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: There is no age limit proposed by the university, but the candidate has to follow
authority norms for the application.
Attempts: There is no Attempt limit for ACET Examination of a student. Graduate,
Postgraduate, Engineering students, Management students, Chartered and Cost
Accountants, Company Secretaries, degree holders in mathematical and statistical sciences
are also eligible to appear in the examination.
2. Candidates must clear their 10+2 examination or equivalent qualification with
English as one of the subjects.
Applicants, who already qualified higher level education and also those working
and having qualifications in mathematical subjects, are also eligible to appear in
the entrance exam.
Postgraduate, Graduate, Engineering students, chartered, management students
and cost accountants, company secretaries, degree holders in statistical sciences
and mathematical etc, can also apply for the ACET.
3. Application
Go to Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) website (www.actuariesindia.org) and
signup
On filling up the Online Registration Form, you will receive a confirmation mail
at your registered email id giving you the link to proceed further by giving other
details, uploading your photograph and making payment of registration fees by
Debit or Credit Card or Internet Banking

After successful registration, you will be able to download the study material
from your login download tab using the same id and password you had used for
online ACET registration
Kindly take a printout of your ACET Online Registration Form, since you have to
submit it at the time of taking admission with the institute
4. Registration Fee
The registration fee for the entrance exam is Rs.3000/- (three thousand only).
This covers the cost of the Welcome Kit inclusive of one Sample Paper and Online
Exam
The registration fee once paid is neither refundable nor can it be carried forward
for the next ACET
5. ACET 2018 Exam Pattern
All questions in ACET question paper will be MCQ type. Each question will
have one correct answer. CET is a 3 hour, 100 marks online exam which has
70 multiple choice questions with one correct answer for each question. It is
an online, computer based test.
Total number of questions would be 70 questions. Maximum marks you can
get by answering all the questions correctly is 100 marks.

of weightage.
Section-II – English and Logical Reasoning will contain 45% of weightage.
