KEY AREAS OF ENGAGEMENT
Conceiving, installing and Operation of New Transformer plant at
Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh. Appointed as Authorized Location Head
for other two plants manufacturing Energy Meter and Industrial
Products.
Supply of Technology to Manufacture Power &Distribution
Transformers - Dry type Cast Resin Transformers, Unitized Substations
etc.
Overall responsibility to set up and run new transformer plant to
manufacture 350 transformers per Day. (10kva to 10 MVA), including
Sheet Metal Fabrication.
Complete responsibility to establish the factory in Oman under
collaboration with Babcock Transformers Ltd. UK
Assimilation and transfer of the Babcock UK, technology to
manufacture Power and Distribution transformers in Oman
Responsible for Design, Detailed Engineering, Material specifications,
Quality Systems, Process Specifications, Production Management,
Costing, Estimation, Budgeting etc. for the manufacture of
Transformers & also overall technical management for Structural and
Galvanizing Divisions.
Prepare Technical specifications for Tenders including systems
specification, quality of products as per latest design and electrical
codes.
Monitor progress on all Installations & work at the sites, prepare weekly
& monthly progress reports, resolve all change orders, variation &
modifications to specifications & Materials
Negotiation of Major sub-contract orders and orders for all capital
equipment.
Liaison with Client, consultant and main contractor.
Co-ordination and Interaction between the various elements of a multi-
disciplined team.
