4. • AD Integration - user authentication against LDAP
• SSO support - Users can be imported from AD groups either as one-off selections or scheduled synchronization
tasks; these users can then log in to DameWare Remote Support and Mini Remote Control with their Windows
username and password
• Auto sign in for DameWare Centralized modules -
Settings enable the sign-on screen to be skipped by AD credentialed users

7. • Parent/Child Ticket Relationships
• The Web Help Desk software can now link multiple service requests to one parent ticket to address a repeated issue
or task (such as on-boarding a new employee or tracking your IT projects). Additionally, you can pass user data,
attachments, and custom fields between parent and child tickets to share data to relevant tasks.
• Automated Ticketing Processes
• The Web Help Desk software now includes improved task capabilities. Using tasks, you can now link a new ticket
automatically to an existing ticket that triggers an action rule.

• Automates third-party patching and publishing
• Automates the publishing of third-party updates to WSUS servers in the same way that Microsoft®
updates distribution points
• An additional option can be set to automatically approve certain patches based on criteria (typically
severity) and provide a scope for automatic approval.
