Here Allah(s.w.t) clearly explains us that the
hypocrites have exchanged error with the guidance,
so they lost the world with their losing trade and the
next life with the losing of the guidance.
Their example is like that of a person who lit the fire
and illuminated the surrounding area feeling
benefited and safe. Then the fire was suddenly
extinguished. Therefore, total darkness covered the
person and he became unable to see anything or find
way of it.
