estimating, tendering and procurement solutions for the residential
and commercial construction sectors throughout the UK. We believe
in offering a value for money packages that will in turn, reduce

estimating solutions on a wide range of private residential and
commercial projects throughout the UK.

Standards
Our estimates are produced
to the industry standard
SMM7 (Standard Method of
Measurement) format and
provide clear and concise
outputs regarding labour,
material and Prelim costs. The
bill is broken down by build
phase to produce a document
that clearly identifies all build
costs. Our labour and material
rates are graded for regional
location and project value.
3. SERVICE
Client relations
We take pride in our work and ensure that we make time to
build a relationship with our clients and involve them in the
estimating process. We appreciate that during and after the
time an estimate is produced our customers will have questions,
for this reason we liaise throughout the estimate process. We
will always point out and clarify any queries we have from the
drawings and specifi cations and clearly record any assumptions
that we may make.
Support
It is vitally important that any Quantity Surveyor, fully understands
the Companies labour and overhead costs prior to producing
estimates or tenders. We achieve and manage this aspect
through regular discussion with our clients to ensure these costs
remain current. By investing in this ethos we can generate an
estimate completely tailored to your businesses operating costs.
The only variable now is profi t margin, which we will discuss with
you and advise on prior to fi nalising the estimate/tender.
Winning new business
Should you require we can
provide you with a customer
ready estimate to which you
can add your covering letter
and terms then forward on
directly to your client. This
Bill of Quantities also acts
as a resolution document in
respect of any cost disputes
regarding Extra Over works.
4. TENDERING WORK
Sequencing of tender work
On agreement of fees all drawings are
outsourced for printing.
All works taken off in-line with the Architects
& Engineering drawings/schedule and a Bill of
Quantities is produced.
All rates in Bill of Quantities adjusted for project
location and project value.
Bill of Quantities is submitted to the Contractor
for review. At this point labour rates can be
discussed and amended if required. (These
rates will then be used for any estimates going
forward).
Profit margin mark-up discussed and agreed
between Contractor and Estimating Service.
All rates in Bill of Quantities adjusted for any
labour amendments and to include Contractors
profit margin.
Populate the item headings of Architects Pricing
Schedule with rates from the above Bill of
Quantities.
Contractor submits Pricing Schedule together
with Bill of Quantities to the Architect.
Additional work
Contactor contacts Architect to discuss if
any Client amendments are required.
Contractor relays Architects instructions to
Estimating Service.
We make all the required adjustments to the
Bill of Quantities and the Pricing Schedule
and return to Contractor for submission to the
Architect.
5. ESTIMATING WORK

Bill of Quantities is submitted to the Contractor.
Contactor reviews Bill of Quantities and profi t

We make all the required adjustments to the Bill of
Quantities for profi t and produce a Client Quotation
at an additional charge if required.

Submitting drawings
and specifi cations
You can provide your project details for a
quotation in a number of ways, either via
surface mail. Email or a link to a cloud
storage drive such as Dropbox.
