Dan Brown
• Dan Brown, born June 22, 1964, Exeter, New Hampshire,
U.S., American author who wrote well-researched novels
that centered on secret organizations and had intricate
plots. He was best known for the Robert Langdon series,
which notably included The Da Vinci Code (2003),Angels and
Demons, Inferno.

The Da Vinci Code is a 2003 mystery thriller
novel by Dan Brown. It is Brown's second novel to
include the character Robert Langdon: the first was
his 2000 novel Angels & Demons. The Da Vinci
Code follows "symbologist" Robert
Langdon and cryptologist Sophie Neveu after a
murder in the Louvre Museum in Paris causes them
to become involved in a battle between the Priory of
Sion and Opus Dei over the possibility of Jesus
Christ and Mary Magdalene having had a child
together.
The novel explores an alternative religious history,
whose central plot point is that
the Merovingian kings of France were descended
from the bloodline of Jesus Christ and Mary
Magdalene, ideas derived from Clive Prince's The
Templar Revelation (1997) and books by Margaret
Starbird.

Vinci Code. The movie is a master
piece with a great star cast
featuring Tom Hanks, Audrey
Tautou, Sir Ian McKellen, Jean
Reno and Paul Batteny

6. Controversy around the Movie and The Book
• The Da Vinci Code, both in book
and film form, has been subject
to extreme criticism, owing to
the fact that a sizable number
of claims made by the author,
Dan Brown, are rooted in
religious, historical, and
scientific inaccuracies. Apart
from this, the depiction of
European art, history, and
culture tread muddied waters.

Lee Strobel
Lee Patrick Strobel (born January 25,
1952) is an American Christian author and
a former investigative journalist. He has
written several books, including four which
received ECPA Christian Book Awards and
a series which addresses challenges to the
veracity of Christianity. He also hosted a
television program called Faith Under
Fire on PAX TV and runs a
video apologetics web site. Gary Andrew
Poole is an American journalist and author.
He has written for the New York
Times, The Atlantic, Esquire and TIME.

• Literature VS Literature is the best way to resist or criticize something
rather than slitting throats or damaging public property .
• Bloodshed or Damaging the public property is not the only way to show
disagreement ,anger or agitation, one can express it by writing it down in
a good manner .
