4.  Along with Satan , Eve is the most important character
in Paradise Lost.
 She was created from Adam’s rib as his helpmeet.
 And then lord GOD caused a deep sleep to fall on
ADAM ,and he slept; he took one of his ribs , and
closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the
lord GOD had taken from man He made into a woman
,and He brought her to the man(Genesis 2:21,22).

5.  It is said that it was EVE who first ate the forbidden
apple and she also tempted ADAM to eat it. It is said
that she was created from Adam’s rib and he was his
master . She was tempted by Serpant to ate the
forbidden apple.Eve was curious that’s why she ate the
apple but Adam was aware of the consequences of
eating the apple ,but instead of stopping her he ate the
forbidden apple and when GOD gave them punishment
he put all the blame on EVE . Here the question arises
WHO IS THE FIRST SINNER ? ADAM OR EVE.

6.  TRANSGRESSOR means TO GO
BEYOND A BOUNDARY OR LIMIT. I see EVE as curious
and revolutionary character. .I accept that EVE broke the
rule and ate the forbidden apple but she is a human and
human can never be perfect ,human is a curious creature.
it's in human nature to do the things first they are told not
to do . she wanted to gain knowledge and wanted to
become equal to ADAM .she says that ,
 " If this be our condition , thus to dwell in narrow circuit
strained by a Foe , subtle or violent , we nit endued single
with like defence whatever met ,how are we happy , still in
fear of harm ?but harm precedes not(from our ) sin". This
lines shows EVE's desire for free will.

7. The first thing EVE does upon coming to
life is stare at herself in a lack just like
the GREEK mythological hero ,
NARCISSUS, who fell in love with his
own reflection and died as a result but
here Eve does not die which means she
is not as dumb as NARCISSUS. EVE is
not as bad and stupid as she is portrayed.

8.  after knowing that Adam and Eve ate the forbidden
apple GOD punished both but the punishment of Eve
is more painful in comparison of Adam .God said :
 “ I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in
pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be
for your husband, and he shall rule over you”(Genesis
3:16)
 This punishment leads us to so many questions ; Does
she really deserve this kind of cruel punishment ? Is
God misogynist ? Why did he make them work in the
same garden where the forbidden tree was located ?
He is almighty and merciful so why he did not forgive
them both?
