rose to dominate the personal computer operating system market
with MS-DOS in the mid-1980s, followed by Microsoft Windows.

On the contrary, Microsoft faced anti trust issues since people found it
monopolizing the industry. Apple made a great comeback with a range
of iPods, iPhones and iTunes. The Mac became symbolic of a smart
and creative personality. Windows Vista was plagued with bugs. Of
late, Internet Explorer and Windows smart phones have faile dto keep
up with the competition.
