This document discusses potential locations for filming scenes for an assignment. Four locations are proposed:
1. Stonebridge Park Station - Ideal for its isolation and stairs for a chase scene.
2. Shivonne's garden - Provides a run-down environment and space for acting out scenes on the pathway.
3. Shivonne's bathroom - Suitable size for filming a scene of a character looking in the mirror.
4. Travel details and safety precautions are also outlined to ensure the filming goes smoothly and safely at each location.
4. This bathroom would be good to use because it has a large mirror to
see the main character clearly but at the same time it is no too big so
the tripod or camera would not be showing
5. Scouting Photos
The station in the early
morning is clear and not
crowded so we wouldn’t have
any distractions.
8. Scouting Photos
Pathway-
We could use this for the pathways
•When Kayla walks down
Location 2- My
garden
•There is plenty of space for
blood to be splattered
•Easy to clean up- Tiles
However
•The are many objects in
garden that may cause the
viewers attention to divert
Forestry Green-
•Isolated, abandoned area,
creates an eerie
environment
•Fits the thriller genre-
urban environment
9. Scouting PhotosLocation 3- My
Bathroom
This could be used for the bathroom
scene when she put she wig next to
her head-
•However, the bright background
connotes with joyful and cheerful
periods
This could be used for the bathroom
scene-
•The sink: where there Kayla puts the
knives in the sink
11. Scouting Photos
• This station isn’t busy so we
would be able to film.
Location 1
Maida Vale Station
• This station is quite so its
quite mysterious which
fits our genre.
• This location is local
12. Scouting PhotosLocation 2
Warwick Avenue Station
• This station is dark and forestry
which would be good for our
opening sequence
• It would be easy to get to the
other locations from there
13. Scouting Photos
Garden Pathway-
• This is where Kayla and the
victim would be.
• This is quite isolated so it
would be good for when
Kayla is harming the
victim.

My Garden

Location 4
My bathroom
• The mirror is a
good size for you
to see Kayla when
she looks in the
mirror
• The bathroom has
good lighting
which means you
would be able to
see clearly.
• It would fit our
genre because
there are no bright
colour or any
distractions
16. Scouting Photos
•Has stairs for the scene where Holly runs up
the stairs looking back at Kayla.
•It is an ideal station for most of us
and is never that busy like other
train stations, so it fits the
conventions of the Horror genre.
Location One : Stonebridge Park Station
17. Scouting Photos
Location Two : My Garden
Run down beaten grass fits the
conventions of a abandoned
environment in the horror genre.
Large amount of space for Kayla to
walk on the pathway and the
entire garden looks isolated which
creates an peculiar ambience.
18. Scouting Photos
Location Three : My Bathroom
•Bathroom scene for where Kayla
stands in front of the mirror and
strokes the hair cut off Holly’s scalp.
•A good size to see Kayla’s actions.
•One disadvantage of this location is
the yellow lighting, however, if filmed
in day light, the window next to it will
produce natural light.
