2. WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY
WE ARE TRYING TO ADDRESS?
WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES?
Sofar Sounds transforms everyday spaces - like a living room or retail
shop - and turns it into a captivating venue for secret, live shows,
creating an immersive experience that brings guests and artists closer
together. Each Sofar is small, and typically features three diverse acts,
with no headliner.
To motivate people to host performances.
As they continue to grow, their primary struggle is to
find locations to host the performances. They need to
get people to host shows, whether it be in their home, or
if they are business owners, their business after hours.
They only ask that the location can accommodate a
minimum of 50 guests.
In addition, their branding has not been developed since
they began in 2009. An update could increase peoples’
willingness to host, as well as increase attendance.
3. They love going to the Sofar shows, they’ve probably
been to many, but have never considered hosting a
show.
