• INSURANCE COMMISSION (IC) – DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE (DOF), 19 May 2014–present
Current Role: Supply and Procurement Officer, Administrative Division
- Liaises and coordinates with the Procurement Service (PS) of the Philippines and other government
agencies and suppliers on the procurement of property, materials and supplies;
- Assists in the canvasing, purchasing, delivery and quality control of property, supplies and materials;
- Prepares, generates and compiles the Supply Availability Inquiry (SAI), Inventory Custodian Slip (ICS),
Acknowledgement Receipt of Equipment (ARE) Forms and other supply/procurement-related reports;
- Provides assistance in the semi-annual and annual inventory of property, supplies and materials; and
- Maintains the Property and Supply Management System and Records.
Key accomplishments:
- Part of the team who spearheaded the institutionalization of the Property and Supply
Management System and Database which is a first time in the history of the Commission;
- Managed to achieve a 0% discrepancy in all reports/documentation of all property and supply
procured, issued, audited and accounted for Calendar Year (CY) 2014; and
- Granted a Letter of Commendation from the Deputy Insurance Commissioner for Management
Support Services Group for achieving a remarkable discount on the procurement of rice (for rice
allowance of the employees) which led to a significant saving for the Commission for CY 2015.
