contact information and special event & buzz information.
•Logistics: Confirm date, time, time zone, location and length of
interview.
•Know the show format: Is it a music format or talk radio? Is it live or
pre-recorded?
7. •Prepare suggested interview questions –> (10 to 15).
•Advertise the interview on your website/blog and Social Media
sites! Post the station or link to listen…
•For live interviews, ask if it can be recorded and a MP3 file
provided.
8. •Logistics:
•Call from a land line in a quiet place.
•Don't use speaker phones or headsets.
•You want the best sound quality possible!
9. •Have your contact information, product info and website info in front
of you. This is radio and not TV so notes are ok!
•Relax, be yourself and have a conversation. - Don't just answer
questions.

•Figure out how to tell your story in different ways.
•Don't make the interview just about selling book but share
information which establishes you as an expert.
11. •Be excited and be gracious!
•Thank the host on air and by email or Social Media sites.
•Update Social Media sites (post links to your website or purchase
information).
