Second preliminary task

1. Preliminary task-

2. The plot of the project is to present the hardship of l/g/b/t/q/i/a +
(lesbian, gay, trans, queer, intersex, asexual) relationships in
the present world. The focus of the plot is the relationship
between two females, Aria and Alice who are both 18 years
old. The project focuses on them tackling social problems as
well as problems at home especially with Aria’s mother. This
project was initially made to portray the problems young
people face with dealing with the status and what problems
they come across even in the 21st century where is it seen to be
socially accepted . The genre of the film is coming of age and
is aimed at young people who may be facing these problems.

4. Location-
The first scene was mainly filmed in the calthorpe project and the other scene
were filmed in a friends house in london.

5. Evaluation-
We had to change our original idea due to the lack of time and
access and therefore thought it would be appropriate to make a
fresh film which links in no way with our original idea. I feel that if
we participated and communicated better as a group we would not
have had to do this sudden change and let all our preparation go to
waste and could have created a near enough master piece for first
timers. However due to the sudden change and availability of the
actors , we have created a piece that I feel doesn't give us enough
credit as media students and doesn't illustrate our strengths and
what we are capable of doing. We have learnt as a group to be
more realistic and prioritise what is most important in order to
create a piece which we would be proud to present.
