2. Terry fabric is a knitted fabric with
ring yarn or terry covering at one or
both sides. It belongs to one of the
fancy knitted fabric.
It is characterized by soft touch,
thick texture, excellent water
absorption and heat retention. The
word terry comes from the French
word tirer which means “ to pull
out”.

3. Terry fabric can be classified into some
categories:
• Single sided terry fabric
• Double sided terry fabric
• Jacquard terry fabric
• Cotton terry fabric
• Printed terry fabric
• Poly terry fabric
• Bamboo terry fabric

4. Single sided terry fabric:
Also known as “French Terry Fabric”. It’s one side
is flat ,another side is cross loop.
Double sided terry fabric:
Also known as “ Towel Terry Fabric”. It’s both side
is cross looped. Double sided terry fabric is thick
and soft with good warmth retention property.
Jacquard terry fabric:
It’s mainly used to make underwear, outerwear,
decoration purposes and so on. It covers the surface
of the fabric cloth.

5. Cotton terry fabric:
Made of 100% cotton. It is very comfortable to wear.
So it’s mainly used in nightgown, sweater etc.
Printed terry fabric:
It is mainly occurred by printing with colors.
Different types of colors are used for this purpose.
Poly terry fabric:
Poly terry fabric means to add terry on the basis of
poly fabric. Generally professional customers would
directly asking for poly terry fabric when choose
product. It has good flexibility, good heat preservation
performance, soft and bright color, stable chemical
performance.

6. Bamboo terry fabric:
It is made of bamboo fiber through some special process.
It is a new type fabric with the properties of silky, soft,
warm, wet absorption, anti-bacterial, anti-UV,
comfortable and beautiful.

8. Environmental Friendly: It is a green product. The entire production
process is free from chemical ingredients.
Sanitary: Bamboo terry fabric can prevent bacterial cross infection.
Do not fade: During dyeing process, using TF 215 and other dye materials
for microfiber fabric.

Disadvantages
The disadvantage of terry fabric is that when you wash terry
cloth the edges unweave, sometimes terry cloth isn’t all
natural and since this product is mostly cotton, people with
cotton allergies can’t use it.

9. Terry cloths is generally used as towel, bath robes and beach coverups due
to it’s softness and highly absorbent quality.
It is also used for sportswear, children's wear, slip covers, draperies,
exercise wear, infant and toddler accessories and toys.
