SHE MEANS BUSINESS
There's a lot of chatter on the Internet and around
the office that many millennials simply are
changing the way things are done in business.
From attire to company culture, there is no
shadow of a doubt that millennials are making a
difference. When it comes to basic knowledge of
project and event management, millennials are
lacking preparation and the right skills, which can
ultimately make it difficult for hiring managers to
select the right candidates for the position.
Gwinnett entrepreneur Sha Von Johnson is looking
to change that. Johnson, who has had a successful
career teaching, directing and managing various
programs and projects, is currently on a mission to
find a company she can call her second home. An
establishment where she can contribute her skills.
Sha Von Johnson is beyond the early stages of
understanding the basic concepts of project &
event management. Read further to discover your
next best candidate for your open position.

THE BACKGROUND STORY
"While writing is my passion, project
management is my bread and butter.
Keeping on top of projects and making sure
all parts get to the finish line at the same
time is one thing I do best. The ability to
juggle projects and never missing a
deadline didn’t just develop through my
professional experience. It also comes from
planning and managing various event
projects for friends and family – all with very
different personalities, activities, schedules,
and demands. It was adapt or die trying. I’ve
learned to budget my time and my assets,
and most importantly, I’ve learned to be
flexible and to execute effectively. I am
highly skilled in planning the scope of the
event, soliciting bids, inspecting venues,
conferring with staff and monitoring event
activities to ensure a remarkable event.
Moreover, I have a demonstrated ability to
review bills and approve payments.
