Serena Cunningham
Serena’s supervision sessions reflect her personality which is quiet
with a collaborative style. Her priority is to ensure those present
feel safe in order that they can share experiences and to offer
support. She also ensures those that haven’t actively coached for
some time feel part of the session if they wish, but also giving them
the opportunity to learn from the cases that are being shared.

Serena has worked in both privateand public sectors throughout her career. She
currently works at Kent County Council in Learning & Development.
Serena describes herself as beinga patient, positiveperson enjoying interaction with
other people givingpeople the best opportunity they can to be the best that they can.
Serena is responsiblefor ensuringthe highest quality of learningand development
delivery,aligned to the organisation’s strategy,providinganalysisand feedback for
long-term planning. She has adopted a coachingstyleof management as she likes to
empower people to make decisions for themselves.
Serena trained as an internal coach and alongwith Coral Ingleton leads on the South
East Coaching& Mentoring Network.

To help provide some structure to the groups,Serena likes to work with a number of
techniques that ensure everyone can contribute equally to the discussion. Handouts

Group Sessions of 2 hours duration typically with 4 – 8 coaches. These groups are
carried out on a Face to Face basis at various locations in Kent.
