Summary
I have worked on Organisational Learning and Development initiatives for the past 5 years in my current role in
a Business Unit of State Bank of India, where my key responsibilities were organising and conducting product
training sessions for sales team,process training programs for operating functionaries, talent management

Responsible for handling Learning and Development Initiatives for employees in a Business Unit along with
formulating strategies for expansion of portfolio through Product Management/Training and Interactive
workshops/Awareness Generation Programs/Drives & Special campaigns and maintaining long term
relationships with media and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibility Areas –
Learning and Development function
 Independent Handling as nodal Officer of a Pan India Training Initiative of the Bank named ‘RSETI’ to
manage and assess client-employee relations
 Responsibility to conduct needs analysis of employees
 Preparing Training Strategy document in consultation with Senior Managers
 Responsiblility of need analysis, designing, development, implementation and measure the
effectiveness of state-of-art learning and development, product training and coaching programs.
 Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for executing new and different requests,
exploring opportunities to add value to; Skills, Qualifications, Performance Management, Management
Proficiency, Coordination, Coaching and Developing Standards
 Develop relationships with internal, external key stakeholders to ensure sponsorship of programs and
alignment with current business needs
 Developing training materials, modules, courses and schedules
 Delivering knowledge through systems-based trainings and sensitization meets to Bankers at
Middle/Senior Management levels to increase business productivity
 Development of energizers, team building games, new practices and methods to award performing
employees
 Handling MIS reports of Training Programs
 Branding training programs with tag lines, branding mailers, catalogues, postures, program booklets,
write ups for SBI’s Internal Sites etc
 Assist in development of employee engagement and incentivization programs,events,contests and other
creative promotional activities
 Presentations for staff and stakeholders on Organisational goals and objectives
 Developing and implementing incentivisation programs (Special award ceremonies and Tiered Awards)
Marketing communications and PR function
 Work collabortively as a team towards Brand/product information dissemination, brand awareness and
strategic marketing
 Responsible for managing content and flow of outbound communications like newsletters, bulleteins,
inhouse journals
 Promote company brand through press, trade show and media outreach initiatives
 Maintain and update BU’s website content.
 Plan and implement various corporate events in collaboration with communications team.
 Design and produce sales and collateral presentation materials.
 Design and manage various marketing campaigns.
 Prepare media statement,press release and interview responses
 Communication Budget and tracking expenses
 Presentations for staff and stakeholders
 Assist in development of employee engagement and incentivization programs,events,contests and other
creative promotional activities
 Coordinate and prepare PR Communications and material viz leaflets,phamplets and bulleteins
 Communicate recognition programs and events to all
 Liaison with media,sales force,customers,and other stakeholders
 Assist in management of Public Awareness programs on bank’s various initiatives
 Information dissemination on new initiatives/regular instructions received from Corporate office &
ensuring compliance
Marketing Related Functions
 Improving Bank's share in a Business segment in the State by mapping Lending potential
 Designing and implementing strategic business development plans for augmenting the business volume
 Allocation and preparation of yearly targeted Budget and evolving means to attain them
 Formulating Marketing strategies to generate awareness on the various initiatives/products by
organizing special drives, interactive platforms between bank and customer,
Business Development functions
 Developing new clients relations for securing profitable business
 Organizing promotional programs & participating in various exhibitions for greater brand visibility & lead
generation
 Carrying out monthly performance tracking of all channels utilized for driving business
 Preparation of business data
 Data analysis to assess growth, productivity and measures to be taken to address challenging areas
Operations/administrative functions
 Information dissemination on all new initiatives and regular instructions received from our Corporate
office and ensuring compliance
Awards & Achievements –
1. Received appreciation from Channel Head for implementing marketing support initiatives to achieve
budgeted targets consecutively for 2 years
2. Received momento and certification from NABARD for effective use of marketing mix for leveraging
performance of a specific product designed by them
3. Developed and maintained an internal website in collaboration with IT to ensure effective internal
communication on product line, marketing strategies, expectations, budgeted goals and way forward
4. Developed quarterly in-house journal “Grameen Udyog”
5. Have hosted programs attended by our Hon’ Union Finance Minister, Chairman of SBI, top level
functionaries, media on several occasions
6. Nodal officer for the State for a prestigious Govt of India Project in collaboration with SBI
7. Have secured first Position in University with record breaking marks in Masters and received Gold Medal
8. Have secured first Position in Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from a premier institute
IISWBM and was awarded silver medal

Key Responsibility Areas –Overall Incharge for implementing an internationally funded project on integrated
development for ‘Women in prostitution’ operating in West Bengal though organisation of interactive
workshops,awareness drives and extensive training to achieve results.
Team Size handled - 30 members.
 Imparting detailed training on the Project to supervisory staff and evaluating training outcomes
 Preparation of training material based on felt needs
 Feedback and evaluation of training programs
