Indirect speech = Reported speech: Ahmed said that he agreed.

“I think he is right,” said Dr Paul.
“I am not happy,” said Fatma to me.
“They haven’t gone yet,” said Ahmed to Laila.
For all: Dalia told Talal that she hoped they wouldn’t get lost.

Dalia replied that she had not enjoyed the movie.
“I did not enjoy the movie,” Dalia replied.
“ I will go someday,” said Sami.

“They went yesterday,” said Sami to her.
“Where do you stay?” He asked.
He asked where I stayed.

“Don’t shout at me,” He said.

“Stand up,” the teacher said.
The teacher told the us to stand up.
