before it is taken into wide spread use.

it’s an activity whose purpose is to determine what
learner can do or know about something.

Once we select the objective of the test ,now we will collect the
information/data to make the test valid and reliable.
The items that are used to construct the test are:

• Topics
• Format and Timing
• Criterial levels of performance
• Scoring procedures
6. Reviewing the test
Once the test is prepared now it is time to be confirming the validity,
reliability and usability of the test by the team experts.
• After reviewing the items ,the experts would offer some comments for
modifications of these items .
• After the test developer made necessary modifications, the first draft
of the test would be ready to go under the scrutiny of the pretesting
step.
7. Revising test items
• His is the step where the test items are revised before testing
in the pretesting step
• In this step , the items which has already been corrected or
reviewed, and re-write.
• In this step the test items is called as semi final form.

FORMAT AND TIMING:
Listen the video for five minutes and then interpret it for five minutes.
CRITERIAL LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE:
Student must speak for five minutes and teacher will check accuracy,
appropriacy, fluency, and proficiency.
13. CONCLUSION
Simply test is a formal instrument to measure what learners can do or
know about something.
So to get the best results a test is to be refined from test construction
machine.
