Tombstone
I was lucky enough to have an artist offer to
make a quick pencil sketch of the design.
1. I used a
first Hot Wire and a
Japanese saw to
carve the shape

I used wood carving tools to
create dents and a Japanese pull

I used a Dremel tool with a variety of blades to carve the design.

Example of the tomb before it is painted
For painting I used a Gesso primer mixed with
black paint to make grey. Then we did another
coat of the same mix with a bag of gravel.
