our team comes into forefront. The job involves supporting the Sales Team in achieving their target by supplying right
product at right time. It also involves monitoring and supervision of the Third Party Managed Warehouse and to maintain
and work within the regulatory framework of the company. It also involves to work towards the customer delight by
achieving a healthy OTIF rate.

DSP comprises DSM’s activities in the field of development, production and sale of active pharmaceutical ingredients
(API), intermediates and bulk actives for anti-infectives such as Penicillin G, intermediates such as 6-APA and 7-ADCA,
side chains and active ingredients for anti-infectives. It is the world’s number one supplier of penicillin and penicillin
derivatives and has production sites in The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Mexico, India, China and Egypt
Job Context
DSM was in a commodity business with little product differentiation, but a strong brand and the purpose of the Job was to
make not only the product outstanding but the services to be world class, which enabled DSM to differentiate itself from
the rest of Competition. The job involved supporting OTC and Sales Team to ensure proper execution of all Export
shipments as per Customers requirement and DSM Standards. It involved very high degree of interaction with various
functions within the company such as OTC, Warehouse, Plant Logistics Department, DFA, Purchase, Sales and Finance.
Also it involved external interfaces with CHA’s, Freight Forwarders, Central Excise & Customs, Sales Tax, FDA, Drug
Controller Transporters and Insurance Agencies. It was of prime importance to ensure timely exports for customer delight
and maintain healthy stock levels at warehouse to ensure smooth functioning at the same time, contributing to maintain a
healthy OWC. The job also involved timely import clearance and warehousing in co-ordination to PTP & DFA to make
the product available at factory on time to avoid production losses.
