Qualifications Summary
Work experience includes 18 years with Fifth Third Bank and Old Kent Bank beginning as a Senior Float covering
absences, vacations, and short-term leaves and serving in a multitude of job descriptions; over a five year period
performed exceptionally in such titles as personal banker, customer service manager, acting banking center
manager, and lead customer service representative (CSR) across 14 Southwest Michigan branch locations.
Upon promotion to Customer Service Manager at the Portage branch in 1999 responsible for the day-to-day
operations and daily supervision and performance of seven customer service representatives; in this lead role areas of
accountability included maintaining a balancing record, managing a fund of cash for commercial and consumer
transactions,developing period-end audits and reports, overseeing risk management and referral activities, and creating
the staff schedules to meet the influx of customers.
Beginning in 2006 responsible for promoting a full line of products and services while cultivating customer
relationships; processed personal,auto, home and home equity loans, refinancing of loans, and lines of credit, as well as
checking/savings accounts, credit cards, IRAs, CDs, and fixed annuities.
Early employment at American National Bank (later Old Kent) served as a catalyst for success in subsequent
roles; earned promotion to Lead CSR in 1984 based on knowledge, leadership ability, and customer service proficiencies.
In present role perform administrative and customer service support responsibilities for a residential and
commercial HVAC services provider in Portage, Michigan; duties include scheduling and dispatch of service technicians,
time card review and reconciliation, billing and collection of past due invoices, researching and preparing quotes,pricing
sheet maintenance, ordering parts and supplies for customers and staff, and updating and development of existing and
new procedure manuals.
