2. Leader
The mask of the character hides his
identity. The fact that the leaders
mask is more detailed than the
henchmanâs shows that he is of high
stature in the âgangâ.
The leader is also wearing a
waistcoat with a thick
tie, establishing again that he is of
higher stature as he is dressed
differently. The sleeves being rolled
up is an establishment of a
common theme for this character
throughout the movie. The
waistcoat is also grey, grey
connotes unfeelingness to the
world, which is perfect for the
character as he has no regard to
the law whatsoever.
3. Ignotus
Henchman
The henchmanâs mask has less
detail on it than that of the
leaders, evoking that he has less
power in the group and is easily
disposable.
The suit of the character suggests
that he is a business man, black
connotes power again suggest he is
high up in the drug world. The fact
he looks slightly uncomfortable in
the suit suggests that he is being
forced to wear it. His black tie is
also thinner than the leaders
conveying the power difference
between the group through the use
of tie thickness.
4. Userâ
This character is wearing a hat inside the
house suggesting that he has no respect to
the unwritten rules of a household. The hat is
also covering up his long greasy hair
portraying that he is a character that rarely
washes, which is a common stereotype for a
drug addict.
The character is wearing
countless layers of
clothing conveying the
idea that he loses control
of his body heat when
âhighâ. He is also wearing
tracksuit bottoms which
is again a stereotype for
lower class addicts
The character isnât wearing
any shoes showing that he
is comfortable in the drug
den and treats it like a
home.
He is holding a bag of
crisp implying that he
is already high and is
suffering from the
munchies.
