This document is a summer training report submitted by Salim Shabir Mir to Dr. Sikha Gera regarding a study of customer satisfaction with HDFC Bank. The report includes an introduction to HDFC Bank, a literature review on previous studies of customer satisfaction, details of the research methodology including data collection instruments and sample size, an analysis of the results, suggestions and limitations. The conclusion is that while most customers are satisfied with HDFC Bank services, some improvements could be made regarding online and mobile banking functionality to increase overall customer satisfaction.

2. INTRODUCTION OF COMPANY
• HDFC Bank was incorporated in 1994 as a
subsidiary of the Housing Development Finance
Corporation, with its registered office in Mumbai,
Maharashtra, India. Its first corporate office and a
full-service branch at Sandoz House, Worli were
inaugurated by the then Union Finance Minister,
Manmohan Singh.
3. 2.Keyur M. Nayak * Poonam P. Yadav (2014): Researchers want to
explain about customer satisfaction towards HDFC bank. In this paper
both sources (primary and secondary) used and data were collected
through questionnaire from 200 respondents at Vapi region. This study
is based on descriptive research. The purpose of study is to analysed
satisfaction level of customers using in HDFC bank. The paper
concluded that although most of the clients are satisfied with the services
provided by the hdfc bank but there is still a majority of people who are
facing some problems which include not being able to login their
accounts online and mobile banking,not getting otp and problems in
making online payments.

6. RESEARCH DESIGN
A framework or blueprint for conducting the research project
DATA COLLECTION: -The data are collected by the primary and secondary
sources both to know the customer’s satisfaction level towards HDFC Bank.
Ø RESEARCH PERIOD Research work was done in 8 weeks from 1st September
2021 to 31st October 2021
Ø AREA OF STUDY The area of survey is Srinagar City.
Ø SAMPLE SIZE My sample size for this project was 50 respondents. Since it was not
possible to cover the whole universe in the available time period, it was necessary for me
to take a sample size of 50 respondents.

9. SUGGESTIONS
• Bank should try to retain the loyal customers.
• Bank should try to attract customers by its services and
products
• Bank should focus on net banking and phone banking.
• The bank should make its procedures less time
consuming.
• Bank should try to satisfy its customers in overall
performance.
10. LIMITATIONS
1. The time bound period is the major limitation in research projects.
2. Due to the financial and time constraints a cluster analysis of the population so as to get better results was not
feasible.
3. The research conduct in Srinagar city only.
1. To convince the people for a proper interviewing
process is also difficult.
11. CONCLUSION
Under product research I came to know about the modification
which consumers want .Consumer research deals with consumer
and their problem and solution to the problem. This study helps
to know about the consumers need and expectation levels
regarding products and ascertainable levels of consumer
satisfaction
