Risk, Patient Safety, Compliance and Quality Improvement – Restructured the quality, risk & peer
departments to employ nurse coordinators as subject matter experts focused on streamlining workflow and
compliance for each program. Created a department scope of practice document aligned with federal and
state requirements. KPGA national representative at the conference for creating a culture of “Speaking Up.”
Consulting- Principal consultant on RIS & PACS clinical future state workflow design and validation.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Risk, Patient Safety, Compliance & Quality Improvement
• Generate performance improvement and other outcome reports with dissemination to appropriate
committees, managers, and service line directors (e.g. peer review, incident analysis, claims data,
procedural complication rates).
• Interpret/analyze safety data to determine trends, identify causative factors, and determine opportunities
for improvement based on measurable data
•Implement clinical risk mitigation strategies to minimize loss.
•Manage adverse event reporting and investigate alleged quality of care concerns.
• Partner with the medico-legal physician chief and legal department to resolve any legal action brought
against the organization.
• Identify and promote strategies for accreditation/compliance survey readiness; coordinate survey
activities; interpret and communicate ACR, FDA, CMS, DCH, and NCQA, standards. Responsible for
generating all corrective action plans in response to survey findings.
•Serve as the Georgia region liaison for Kaiser Permanente’s national imaging compliance program in

• Responsible for directing the day to day administrative matters of a large primary care & multi-specialty
medical office building, through collaboration with physicians and key department leaders to support
delivery of the service model.
• Oversaw operations for the imaging call center, 19 imaging locations, interventional imaging, and safety net
trackers, with accountability for enhancing operational efficiencies, improving patient satisfaction, and the
overall cost structure.
• Key member of an interdepartmental team, responsible for managing and directing outpatient coding,
revenue cycle requirements, data abstraction, and associated activities.
• Review and respond to patient service and/or care related concerns, understanding the impact of the
customer experience relative to the service guarantee.
