The Green Batti Project, an initiative by Social Quotient is India's largest mentoring program that brings together young professionals to mentor children from under resourced communities to enable an exchange of life skills, social skills and exposure to technology. The program is in partnership with the United Nations, Teach For India and Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

Social Quotient redefines the act of charity. We believe that the donor and doer are equally
important as the receiver. Our work involves using modern technology, efficient processes, highly
skilled human resources and adopting an unconventional approach towards solving society’s
problems. Moving away from a typical NGO model, we function as a for profit social enterprise
that develops tangible incentives for corporate entities who fund our various projects.
This, we believe will help us create positive impact at a much larger scale as well as make it
more sustainable.
