A blog is a type of website in the internet which also
goes by the name of weblog.
This type of website contains writers who tell about
their personal experiences, their thoughts, feelings,
ideas, opinions and observations about certain
places, events, things or issues they have been
involved in.
A blogger is the person who maintains a blog site.

1. Fashion blog- contains trends
in fashion, seasonal clothing, new
fashion styles/designs from well-
known brands, prices, where to
source, and the like.

experiences to both local and
international places, accompanied with
pictures including beautiful sceneries,
places to eat, hotels and lodging, shops
and directions how to go there for the
internet users.
3. Music blog- contains updates in
album releases of popular singers or
brands. It features music from indie,
rock, pop, and songs from local and
international artists.

popular menus or recipes the bloggers
love and how to go the
caterings/restaurants.

how they are used and what they do to the
skin, face and body. Prices and
ingredients of specific products are also
found in the blog. There are also do-it-
yourself beauty products like face masks.
6. The following are the steps on how to create a Blog
Post in a safe way
1. Go to the logging website.
2. If you are not yet registered, create an account.
Fill out all necessary information such as
username, password email address,
name,among others.
3. Choose a domain name
(i.e.studentblogger.wordpress.com)
4. Very your email address.
7. 5. Ones registered, you may now log in to your
account.
6. Customize the name of your blog.
7. Write a post. Keep it concise yet interesting.
8. Add title to your post.
9. Check your grammar, spelling, and
punctuation used.
10. You may add your photo, video, music
others.

8. What is a Safe and Responsible Manner in a Blog?
Blogs are websites that are read all over the world by
people from different cultures, socio-economic
backgrounds, professions, and hobbies. It is important
that one who posts a blog should observe good
manners and right conduct in his/her writings.
Specifically, he/she should remember the following:
1. Always ask permission if you are going to use files
created and owned by others that includes photos,
audio, video clips, images, etc.
9. 2. Write respectfully. You may use a
conversational or friendly tone, but still be
professional. Do not post anything that is offensive
in nature.
3. Write objectively. Write about the things that
inspire you but do not be too subjective. Always
back up opinions and suggestions with facts.
10. 4. Choose exciting, timely and informative topics.
However, do not write just to appeal to the
masses. Write about topics that are interesting,
well-organized, unique and entertaining.
5. Do not post your personal information.
6. Do not make any personal attack on anybody.
Avoid bashing people you do not like. Instead use
your blog for doing positive activities.
