Using several initial “set points” as a guide, PowerTrak will tune your
buildings’ HVAC systems to perform at the highest efficiency levels
possible. Our software predicts temperature changes and adjusts every
30 minutes to ensure a consistent temperature throughout your building.
Keeping a consistent temperature is proven to save significant energy.
PowerTrak also minimizes the human factor by resetting to program if an
override is applied to the system. PowerTrak interacts 48 times per day
with your HVAC systems, learns your building temperature trends and
reacts predictively to weather changes and interior temperature changes
due to occupancy and equipment radiant heat. I.e. Computers, Lighting,
Ovens, Warmers, etc.
Traditional systems generally schedule temperature changes only at
absolute specific times. They do not account for weather or indoor
environment changes and only respond to temperature changes when
it’s too late to efficiently heat or cool a space. Temperatures can rise to
75+ degrees before the air conditioning is turned on or temperatures can
fall to 65 degrees before heat is turned on. These drastic fluctuations
cause the systems to work harder and longer for the desired results.
There is a better way...
Current HVAC control systems use two to four unmonitored “set points”
to control indoor temperature systems. They do not predict changes in
weather, occupancy and human intervention. These systems generally
run for too long or not long enough causing large fluctuations in internal
temperature known as building drift. Traditional methods prohibit your
HVAC system from running efficiently and waste significant energy.
This not only wastes energy, it also puts undue stress on your system,
shortening its overall life.
