Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools - Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator (April 2007 - Present)
Plans, budgets and administers allocated funds for all materials purchased for new and renovated schools and
stock furniture. Contact course specialist to make sure all standards are updated. Obtain quotes for all items on
the standards list and stock furniture Create requisitions for all items to be ordered for new schools and stock.
Verify that all purchase orders are received and tracked in database. Coordinate materials going into new
school. Create and distribute weekly report to track all items ordered and delivered at the Hovis Road
warehouse. Schedule new furniture training classes for all CMS Senior Administrative Secretaries. Facilitate
training classes. Review all new furniture orders from schools. Assist all secretaries with questions on furniture
orders. Approve and/or reject furniture orders in Lawson system. Run pick tickets for furniture and copier
paper orders. Notify all C & I departments via email, when a shipment has been received. Track all items in the
C & I storage area using bin locations via MMIS system. Schedule appointments for the C & I Specialist to
come to the warehouse when needed. Assist with scheduling C & I deliveries. Field all calls and emails
regarding new school purchases, stock furniture orders, copier paper, C & I deliveries and surplus furniture.
Create work orders via the “school dude” work order program for furniture and C & I deliveries.
Secretary - August /2006-April 2007
Answered telephones, assisted parents and students in front office. Assisted Attendance Secretary using
NCWise attendance software. Made sure that copiers were working properly. Distributed supplies and mail.
Helped students in health room with cuts, bleeding noses, medications and other non critical health issues.
USAirways - Customer Service Agent (06/99-09/2004)
Assisted irate customers arriving without bags. Located and reunited bags with customers. Advised
misconnected passengers of new flight information. Booked, rebooked, checked-in, boarded and de-planed
arriving and departing passengers. Operated jetway for different types of aircraft.
Reservations Agent ( 05-97-06/99)
Handled incoming calls from prospective passengers. Assisted callers with flight information and ticket pricing.
Explained rules and restrictions for new ticket purchases and ticket changes. Recalculated and reissued changed
tickets.

Researched and analyzed special pricing programs to meet corporate objectives. Negotiated meeting profiles to
increase customer loyalty and expand incremental revenue. Anticipated demand and formulated pricing
