Applicants must be a senior in high school scheduled to earn their diploma by June 30, 2019. Applicants must
complete the Centura High School Scholarship Application and submit it along with their letters of recommendation,
current transcripts reflecting their current overall GPA. The completed scholarship package must be received no later
than June 20, 2019 and may be personally delivered or mailed to the appropriate campus:

In addition to the $1000.00 scholarships being awarded, Centura College will be awarding 5 additional $500
scholarships for each High School. These scholarship recipients will be selected from the completed applications
that were submitted for the $1000.00 scholarship.

o Application.
o Current High School Transcript demonstrating current overall GPA of 2.5 or higher.
o A 500 - 1000 word essay that explains why the applicant wants to attend Centura College.
o A letter of recommendation from the applicant’s high school instructor, guidance counselor or
employer.
Additional Scholarship Information
The following scholarship rules should be understood:
1. Winners must begin their program of choice prior to September 30, 2019
2. Winners must be able to provide copies of their final high school transcripts prior to starting their program.
3. Attendance at a Centura College campus.
4. Scholarship is for tuition only and does not include any courses that the student must retake due to failure.
5. Amount is less Pell Grant or any other Grant monies received.
6. Scholarship may not create a credit balance at any time for the student.
7. Scholarship is applied at the time of graduation from the program.
8. Scholarship IS NOT eligible for the Centura “Match” program.
