2. What is inguinal hernia Surgery repair?
• An inguinal hernia occurs in the abdomen near the groin area.
They develop when fatty or intestinal tissues push through a
weakness in the abdominal wall near the right or left inguinal
canal. Each inguinal canal resides at the base of the abdomen.

4. OT Preparation
Things to be checked firstly in OT.
• OT table and remote
• OT light (dome light)
• Anesthesia machine
• Electro cautery machine
• Laparoscopic trolley (monitor , patient details entry pad , light source
,camera console ,CO2 insufflator,CO2 gas cylinder)
• Emergency gases and cylinder connection

9. Anesthesia Drug Trolley
• Anesthesia drug for Laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair
• Mostly general anesthesia used in Laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair
• If patient is in critical condition then central and arterial lines needed
for quick response of drugs .

11. all the syringes should be arranged and labelled with the
anesthesia drug name

• Position :supine
