A DOCK IN THE SEA
The dock is equipped with small units that can
be used for multiple purposes. Designed as a
meeting place, it can become a small local
refreshment or BAR, or simply an observation
point of the skyline of the city of Cagliari
The supporting structure is made entirely of
metal, able to be assembled and
disassembled with ease
The coatings reproduce the characteristics of
the surrounding territory, integrating fully with
the context and making these small units not
impacting
The shields are designed to get the best
comfort in the summer, but can also be used
in the winter thanks to the internal
environment fully accessible
The system also provides for the construction
of a new floating dock with annexes of
cubicles shaped to protect from strong
mistral wind
There is no lack of shading made with
photovoltaic panels, able to provide the
necessary energy to the lighting of the entire
system

impact with the surrounding area
Oristano
The project describes the
study of the construction of
an intermodal center
equipped with several
devices for maximum energy
efficiency, including:
Ÿcompact form of the two
blocks;
Ÿpresence of wind towers
for the exploitation of the
prevailing wind at Oristano
(mistral);
Ÿinstallation of photovoltaic
collectors and wind turbines;
Ÿnatural and artificial
shading shielding;
Ÿuse of natural materials
with the possibility of
recycling at the end of the life
cycle.
