2014: Voluntary Experience - Riad 9 Volunteering
Assisting a variety of people with specific needs, mainly children in Marrakech, Morocco.
Children’s hospital, Cancer unit, Youth Centres, Abused Women, Homeless, Orphanage.
Our aim was to allow the organisations employees to have some breathing room while
taking over responsibilities such as teaching English, cooking and serving food during the
month of Ramadan. Also allowing children in hospitals to enjoy creative projects and have
fun. Much time was spent on redecorating interior and exterior of buildings to make it more
children friendly.
Learned to work as a team
Communication skills with children, teens, young adults and adults.
Gained quick and valuable experience from professionals and local volunteers who were
committed on an annual basis.

2. 2013-2014: Sainsbury’s
Worked as a General Assistant completing most tasks around the store; assisting customers
with needs, making sure the shop floor and products were neat and in order. Experience
with handling cash as well.

Interests
I have been playing basketball for 10 years, of which one year in local school and club
league, two years at college level and three years at university level.
Was one of the founding members of the basketball team at Trinity Saint David, Lampeter
becoming the No.1 sports team. Player/Coach for three years.
Always keen to learn and deeply interested in the study of religions.
