3. • The pilgrimagelasted fromthe 12th April - 18th April and entailed a wide range of activities fromorganising
sports games for largegroups,to working individually with the children and helping them understand more
about the religious background to Lourdes itself.
• The experience was by far the most uplifting and intrinsically valuableI'veever had and it is something I wish
to do again in the future.
The sport of Rugby has been a major partof my lifesincethe age of 8, and as well as developing great levels of
discipline,ithas made me feel very comfortable functioning in a team environment as well as taking a leading
rolein decision making and is certainly something I have translated into my everyday life:

• Scouted into the London Irish Rugby Academy from 2006-2010.
• Represented Loughborough University Rugby Club from 2010-2013
Ultimately sport has been central to my life,and as passionateas I am about playing it,ithas more importantly
allowed me to develop into a strong individual and team oriented person; ithas taught me to be very
organised in terms of my time management and prioritising my workload.
