As a national organization of summer camps and youth education, Campfire USA has inner city and sleep-away summercamps dedicated to
providing a week-long safe and educational environment for kids
Camp Counselor
Entrusted care for 8+ girls per cabin per week, in charge of creating and directing activities for girls during downtime
not dedicated to prescribed educational programs
Organized camp-outs at remote sites on camp property, including organizing and packing camping supplies, food and
water, cooking supplies, and supervising campers packing their own materials
Communicated with parents and family members at check in/check out, as well as throughout the week
Communicated appropriately with campers after the summer via postcards, maintaining a professional relatio nship and
representing the Campfire organization well.
