As a national organization of summer camps and youth education, Campfire USA has inner city and sleep-away summercamps dedicated to
providing a week-long safe and educational environment for kids
Camp Counselor
 Entrusted care for 8+ girls per cabin per week, in charge of creating and directing activities for girls during downtime
not dedicated to prescribed educational programs
 Organized camp-outs at remote sites on camp property, including organizing and packing camping supplies, food and
water, cooking supplies, and supervising campers packing their own materials
 Communicated with parents and family members at check in/check out, as well as throughout the week
 Communicated appropriately with campers after the summer via postcards, maintaining a professional relatio nship and
representing the Campfire organization well.
