I am writing to you today to apply for a position as an Early Childhood Educator at your facility, I learned
about this position on the website Job Bank. I am a recent graduate from Humber College, I have a diploma
in Early Childhood Education. During my two years at Humber I have had the opportunity to experience four
different placement opportunities.
I am interested in this position, as I feel like I have the qualifications for the role as an educator at the
facility. I am able to observe and implement learning experiences for children of any age group with their
interests in mind, will be able to sing songs, and rhymes at an age appropriate level. With experience with
my past placements during college, I have had the opportunity to work with age groups varying from
toddlers to family literacy programs. Working alongside parents has helped me with being able to find
resources for families. Also, have had the opportunity to use and identify how an AQI works as well as a
Nipssing Screening checklist in the classroom and with the children. As well as various observation
techniques to use around the classroom. Teamwork is also an importance of mine, effective communication
will be used around the workplace.
I would be very interested in being able to have the opportunity to come in for an interview for the position
as an educator in your facility and to also find out more about the company. I will schedule to come in when
