2. INTRODUCTION:-
Menopause is the time that marks the end of your menstrual cycles.
It's diagnosed after you've gone 12 months without a menstrual period.
Menopause can happen in your 40s or 50s, but the average age is 51 in
the United States. Menopause is a natural biological process.

3. DEFINITION
“ menopause is the permanent cessation of ovarian function occurring
some time before the end of natural lifespan. menopause usually happens
more or less in midlife, signaling the end of the fertile phase of women’s
life.

9. MEDICAL MANAGEMENT:-
Hormonal replacement therapy-the hormones available in a variety of
form; pills, vaginal cream, vaginal ring inserts, injections.

10. NON HORMONAL THERAPY:-
Life style modification-
Weight bearing exercise.
Reducing intake of coffee, alcohol, smoke.
Adequate calcium intake.
Vit.D supplements.

11. DRUG THERAPY:-
•Biphosphonate
•Fluoride
•Thiazide
•Paroxetine
•clonidine
