The Scopus Project involves converting journal article headers and references from PDF to XML format. The process includes zoning articles using styles, proofreading content against source files, and converting to XML while inserting required tags as defined in the metadata. Upon completion of zoning, proofing, and conversion, a quality assurance tool is run to identify and fix any errors, warnings or validation issues found.

• Scopus Project is conversion of Header (CA) and
Header+Reference (CAR). CA stands for Citation and
Abstract and CAR stands for Citation, Abstract and

• Zoning needs to perform based on DDN environment
• Apply all required styles for Header and References.

6. Content Proofing
• Perform proofing carefully and make sure to clear all
the suspects.
• All suspects must be compare with source file.
• After clearing all suspects export the article.
9. XML Conversion
• After completing the earlier stages Zoning and content
proofing we need to download JobID for XML conversion
using PowerIzec downloader.
• In XML conversion Part we need to check and insert all
tags as per metadata.
10. QA and Validation:
• Run QA tool and fix all QA tool errors, warnings and
validation errors.
