Recent undertaken contracts on behalf of Lovell, Keepmoat Apollo, Mears, Durkan, Lakehouse,
construction projects for Barrett Homes, Family Mosaic, Genesis, Guinness Trust, and local authorities;
including Tower hamlets, Newham, Hackney, Watford, Slough, Enfield and Havering. Tecfast have
completed works on schools in Tower Hamlets in conjunction with the Education Authority.
They have built theirself reputation on delivering a high standard of works within budget and on-time
whilst retaining the core values of our customers, and have many case studies and testimonials from
previous and current customers.
Tecfast RD (rail division) was conceived and developed to expand on the successful growth of
Tecfast Ltd, but within the rail industry. Bringing years of experience to the underground environment
specializing in "Within Program" and "Within Budget". Tecfast RD has amalgamated a cohesive team of
professional management and fully trained craftsmen, who have been involved in the rail sector for many
years, not only as contractors but also as specialist consultants giving an understanding and realization of
both administration procedures and engineering standards required in the delivery of a project.
The company is focused on its approach of realizing excellence and meeting the ever-changing
challenge of the rail industry, through its technical competence, safety awareness and continual training1
.
2. Characteristics of the selected process
Description of the process of modernization of social housing (the primary process). Table 1 shows the
processes implemented in the company Tecfast Limited and their distribution. Parts of the process have been
determined to show above process:
1) Target process– modernization of social housing
2) Inputs:
 Work plan
 Construction documentation (projects, drawings, raports)
 Material resources
 Human resources
 Tools
3) Outputs:
 Reports of steps completed work
 Photographic documentation
 Excess of material resources
4) Person responsible for the process – Executive direktor of the group

The mapping process leads to standardize activities taking place in the company, their efficiency and
effectiveness in the implementation of the primary process - the whole project performed by Tecfast
Limited. Process mapping has many benefits, among other things:
 employee-friendly way of describing the sequence of their activities,
 symbols used during the construction process maps are standard, so they are known in many
countries, which is to facilitate communication between different organizations from different parts
of the world,
 the ability to compare their own processes and those of other undertakings,
 identify key actions in the process and precise definition of inputs and resources needed at the input
and the output of the expected results of the process,
 quick troubleshooting and employees responsible for them using process maps,
 easy to identify unnecessary activities that do not add value, and at the same time generate costs2
.
