2. IPHONE 6S
▸In order to take the picture for my magazine poster I decided to just
use my phone rather than trying to get the camera that I used for
filming or a school camera. Using my own phone made it easier as it
meant that I had just wait for Hannah to be free in order to take the
picture rather then having to chase up when cameras are going to be
free for use which could have led to the delay of the picture being
taken. Due to being my own phone I did not have any problems when
using it, it also meant that the pictures were easily sent over to my
laptop for editing to take place. I was happy with the quality in which
the picture came out in and did not feel like I was at any disadvantage
due to not using a professional camera.

IPHOTO
▸The first step towards creating both my poster and double
page spread was to choose and edit the pictures that I
wanted to be featured in the ancillary tasks.
▸As I used iPhoto for my AS course work I knew how to use it
and didn't have any problems
▸Everything is clearly labeled and easy to use, my favourite
thing about iPhoto is that you can share your work easily
which made it a lot easier and faster to gain audience
feedback.

PIXLR
▸I started to use Pixlr to created my film poster however stopped after
about an hour as it became impossible to use.
▸When pressing apply to a change that you make you can’t go back
once again unless you undo everything else you did after that which
becomes annoying if you like everything you have added on apart from
something that you may have done at the vert start.
▸There was not a large variety of different fonts to use which as they
were all very basic.
▸I soon got fed up of trying to work with the app and gave up as I was
not making any progress.

PAGES
▸ I used pages previously during my research and planning stage however this
time I used it in a different way.
▸ For my film poster I used it to add text onto the image. Pages only has a basic
selection of fonts so I downloaded some more of acid fonts.
▸ For my film review page I used pages in order to add text to the images I
already placed into the pages as well as the black boxes.
▸ The main thing that I liked about pages is the fact lines appeal to allow you to
see what you are adding to the image is all in alignment with each other. I used
these lines a lot as a guidance when adding things like the pages numbers to
ensure that both of the pages were symmetrical to each other.

PIC MONKEY
▸I used Pic Monkey to add all of the pictures to my double page
spread as it was easy to change the sizes of the pictures and
move them around the page without another picture having to be
moved because they are too close to each other.
▸I didn't use pic monkey for anything else as I knew what I wanted
to do next to the review page and knew that I would be able to
do it easily on pages, otherwise I would have had to spend more
time getting used to another app which would have started to be
time consuming.
