In the present situation achievement of mathematics subject has several
problem. Among several problem facing
many challenges which are faced by the learners of mathematics that are
ISSUES OF GENDER,ISSUES OF CLASS,
ISSUES OF CULTURE in ACHIVEMENT mathematics. There are major problems

Historically, mathematics and related careers have been viewed as field more suitable for boys
and men then for girls and women. While their have been some advances made over time, gender
remain a factor impacting on
• Achievement in mathematics
• Attitude about mathematics
• Oneself as a learner of mathematics
• In participation rates in mathematics once it is no longer Complulsory

4.  There are many issues which is related to gender in mathematics achievement
 Usually girls will not choose a mathematics subject for their higher education and they
show less interest in that subject
 There is a reason for why girls does not continue there higher level education by
choosing the mathematics as a subject
 One of the main reason is parents does not give opportunities to girls as they give to
boys
 Due to child marriage of girls they lost their interest towards mathematics subject.

6. Issues of culture
 There there are many problems related to the culture in
achievement of mathematics subject
 Doesnot develop people who are aware of the values and blives
associated with the application of mathematics
 The culture in the school environment and culture in the every ones
house different from each other from this fact we can see
adjustment problem faced by the children
Another problem is the mother tongue used in the house by the child
and the language used in the school allso different
The Other major issues for girls is when she get matured, in the name of
culture parents always ignore to send the girls to the school
 Childmarriage he is also a major issues in learning mathematics
 This type of culture we should not take into the school environment
In school environment, we should always do things that encourage the
learnings then only the mathematics learning will become better

8. Conclusion
It has been found in the present study that girls at Upper
primary school, college stages outperform boys in mathematics
achievement and reading comprehension .Girls showing more
interest in reading then boys. To improve reading
comprehension of boys parent and teacher should encourage
the childrens or read magazine ,novals etc and teacher should
encourage assist reading additional factors that can helps to
improve reading skills include appropriate grouping practices
instruction in mathematics
