Rashid Rahman submitted a field report on the Malakand field trip to his professor Mr. Naveed. The report describes the sediments and deposits found at Jalala formation in Mardan district, including clastic dikes. It also describes the various types of schistose rocks found in the Alpuri group in Malakand, such as mica schist, calcareous schist, and garnet mica schist. Finally, it discusses the Malakand granites and pegmatites. The report is divided into sections on field objectives, abstract, stations visited, conclusion, and references.

2. The present study describes the different types of sediments present at and
the various fluvial and lacustrine deposits at the Jalala formation in Mardan
district. The presence of Clastic dikes is also described.
The Alpuri group in Malakand is also described. The different verities of
schistose rocks have been explained such as mica schist, calcareous schist,
garnet mica schist, green schist, talc schist, graphite schist etc. the Malakand
granites and pegmatites have been discussed as well.
