I have successful track record of establishing and maintaining effective and relevant process activities and

managing the movements of proposals in and out of the pc in accordance with the organizational policy and

• Gathering and assessing background information in order to effectively assess the risk involved;
• calculating possible risk and deciding how much individuals or organizations should pay for insurance
(the premium);
• Provide accurate, high quality, speedy and consistent underwriting that develops good customer-
relations and credibility for the organization
• Restricting the cost of medicals to a minimum so as to be cost effective, without compromising on risk
management principles & underwriting guidelines
• To attend to the queries of the customers, branches & help the customer relationship team in solving
the queries
Past Key Responsibilities:
 New Business processing: Initial Scrutiny of the Proposals, Quality Checking, Underwriting based on
AML & KYC guidelines & Issuance of the Proposals within TAT. Processing of Additional Requirements
& Medicals
 TPA’s Co ordination: Coordinating with TPA for medical conduction across the Gujarat & processing
the report once received.
 MIS & Reports: Maintenance of various Databases/MIS, Preparing repots for senior management
 Relationship & Coordination: Maintaining relationship with sales team and customers, handling
Customer queries & complaints, co-ordination & follow up with Branches & Head Office for Issuance.
Maintain relationship with staff for smoother process & Maintaining a harmonious relationship with all
staff to achieve team goals
 Team Management: Managing the team of Associates, guiding them towards accomplishment of
various tasks of New Business processing
 Branch Monitoring: Guiding branches (32 Branches in Gujarat) about various Processes, Circulars &
Guidelines related to NB processing time to time so they can perform their task smoothly & error free
 Training: Training and feedback provided to Branch & Sales Team for Smoother Processing & faster
issuance of policies. Training on the change in processes and new guidelines
 Customer Service: Providing customer service, solving their queries and helping them to process their
policy servicing, claims request
