grown up surrounded by technology.
While older generations were exposed to
these new products as they were released,
there is now a generation where these
technologies are their complete reality.

Aren’t used to taking notes with paper/pencil
Rely on spellcheck more than a dictionary,
Would never understand the metaphor of
“nails on a blackboard”.

adapt our pedagogy to
accommodate this new
type of learner, and to
“speak their language”.
8. With so many technologies available right now,
and at the rate that new software and programs
are being developed, it might be impossible
to teach students everything about all programs.
Our role as educators is to expose students
to the various social, ethical and economic
issues surrounding technology.
