Zone F is a large zone in Delhi with a high proportion of recreational land use like parks. It has many prestigious medical and educational institutions. It contains posh residential areas alongside government housing complexes. Being near Lutyens Delhi, it also has major public facilities. The zone aims to preserve urban heritage in Mehrauli and redevelop congested areas through urban renewal schemes. It contains Delhi's largest industrial area in Okhla and is planned to have more commercial centers.

•Consists of Mehrauli area identified as conservation area because of rich
urban heritage , high tourist potential .
2. •Largest housing complex at RK Puram , Govt. housing complex-Moti
bagh,Nanakpura,Sadiq ngar etc,Staff housing colonies –Air India, Indian Airlines , DDA,
MCD.
•Proposed for redensification of such pockets after preparation of comprehensive
urban design.
•After independence of country this zone came under rehabilation colonies for displaced
person- lajpat nagar ,amar colony kalkaji etc. Urban renewal schemes to be prepared as
areas have become congested and used for non residential activities.
•Madingir and Dr ambedkar nagar after resettlement have congested and are under
preparation of urban renewal with emphasis on mixed land use.
• Okhla is one of largest industrial belt with area 513 ha and population 37230 work
force. 2 numbers of polluting industry are housed here.
• 1 more DC is being planned at Saket. In addition to (developed) Nehru place and
Bhikaji place.
• 22 community centres area 118.8 ha - 9 developed rest are to be developed
•0.11 ha / 5000 population for convinient shopping centre.
