PALACE
The Mysuru Palace, also known as Amba Vilas
Palace, is a historical palace and the royal residence
at Mysuru in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is the
official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty and the
seat of the Kingdom of Mysore. The palace is in the
centre of Mysuru.

VIRUPAKS
HA TEMPLE
Virupaksha Temple is located in Hampi in the Ballari
district of Karnataka, India. It is part of the Group of
Monuments at Hampi, designated as a UNESCO
World Heritage Site. The temple is dedicated to Lord
Virupaksha, a form of Shiva. It was built in the 7th
century.
5. GARUDA
STONE
CHARIOT
The chariot is actually a shrine dedicated to Garuda,
built inside the Vittala Temple Complex. Garuda,
according to the Hindu mythology, is the vehicle of
lord Vishnu. The chariot was built by King
Krishnadevaraya of the Vijayanagara Empire during
the 16th century.

PILLARED
HALL
A structure in the outer courtyard of the Virupaksha
Temple Complex. It was the building where the king used
to meet his subjects and address their grievances. The
building is also known as the Durbar Hall of the King of
Vijayanagara.
7. VITTALA
TEMPLE
The temple was built in the 15th century during the rule
of Devaraya II. He was one of the rulers of the
Vijayanagara Empire. The temple is dedicated to Vittala
and is also called Vijaya Vittala Temple; Vittala is also
said to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
8. ELEPHANT
STABLES
The Elephant Stables in Hampi served as an
enclosure for royal elephants back in the days of
the Vijayanagra Empire. Eleven domed chambers
are seen here in a long row with a particularly
decorated one which served as an enclosure for the
musicians during any performances.
9. GOL GUMBAZ
Gol Gumbaz, situated in Bijapur district of
Karnataka, is the largest dome in India. It is the
mausoleum of the king Mohammed Adil Shah, Adil
Shahi Dynasty. Construction of the tomb, was
started in 1626 and was completed in 1656. The
name is based on "Gol Gumbadh" derived from
"Gola Gummata" meaning "circular dome".
10. BIDAR FORT
Bidar Fort is a fort at Bidar, Karnataka,
India. It was fully built by Sultan Alla-Ud
Din Bahman of the Bahmanid Dynasty. It
was originally constructed in the 8th
century and later reconstructed in 1428
AD.
11. BADAMI CAVE
TEMPLES
The Badami cave temples are a complex of Hindu and Jain
cave temples located in Badami, a town in the Bagalkot
district in northern part of Karnataka, India. The caves are
important examples of Indian rock-cut architecture,
especially Badami Chalukya architecture, and the earliest
date from the 6th century.
12. BANGALORE
PALACE
Bangalore Palace is a royal palace located in Bangalore,
Karnataka, India, in an area that was owned by Rev. J.
Garrett, the first principal of the Central High School in
Bangalore, now famous as Central College. The palace
was built in the year 1878.
13. STATUE OF
GOMATESHW
ARA
The tallest monolithic statue in the world, Gomateshwara
is dedicated to Lord Bahubali and is located on
Vindhyagiri Hill in the town of Shravanbelagola in the
Indian state of Karnataka. Carved out of a single block of
granite, this statue depicts Lord Gomateshwara, a Jain
saint and stands 60 feet tall. It is so tall that it can be
seen from 30 km away.
14. TIPU
SULTAN'S
SUMMER
PALACE
Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace, in Bangalore, India, is
an example of Indo-Islamic architecture and was
the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler Tipu
Sultan. Hyder Ali commenced its construction within
the walls of the Bangalore Fort, and it was
completed during the reign of Tipu Sultan in 1791.
15. JAMIYA
MASJID
The Jama Masjid of Bijapur is a congregational
mosque in the Indo-Islamic architecture style in the
Indian state of Karnataka. Initiated by Ali Adil Shah I
of the Bijapur Sultanate in the 16th century, the
mosque was never completed. It is the largest
mosque in Bijapur, and has a capacity of 4000
worshippers.
16. HOYSALESW
ARA TEMPLE
Hoysaleswara temple, also referred simply as the
Halebidu temple, is a 12th-century Hindu temple
dedicated to Shiva. It is the largest monument in
Halebidu, a town in the state of Karnataka, India
and the former capital of the Hoysala Empire.
