4.  Drug is an illegal substance taken for
the intoxicating effect it has on the
body
 Drug habit spoils the health of the
addicts and ruins their families
 Narcotic drugs, the great evil, is
more dangerous than intoxicating
drinks.
 Opium, heroin, cannabis, L.S.D.,
psychedelic drugs which produce
hallucination and many other
narcotic substances are available
near many college hostels and
several pharmacies

6.  Prophet mohammed decreed that his followers
should keep away from intoxicating drinks.
 In india taking intoxicating drinks was
considered as a sin. Gandhiji, Rajaji and many
other leaders were relentless fighters for
prohibtition
 Those who sell drugs should be identified and
secret information sent to the police.
 It is our national duty to save our young men and
women from the demon which comes in the form
of drugs.

10.  Bullying women with the intention of having
sexual relations with them.
 Coercing women to yield to sexual relations.
 Increasing intimacy with women by tempting
them with money or gifts.
 Giving false promises.
 Forcing women, through violence, to satisfy
their lust.(rape or sexual violence)

to lure, force or tempt women with
ignoble motives come under sexual
harassment.
• Such harassment of women may take
place at homes, work places, hostels
and public places like hospitals.

14.  Providing sex education in schools, to create
adequate awareness
 Training girls in techniques for self defence
including martial arts.
 Women may dress elegantly, but not in a
provocative manner that may instigate
passion in the opposite sex.
 Fixing monitoring cameras in all public places
and connecting them to a central control
room so as to take quick actions.

15.  Moral instruction should be provided right from
the childhood which helps students to adhere
disciplined behaviour.
 Parents and teachers should serve as living
examples of right and decent behaviour.
 Parents should continuously monitor the
behaviour of their children.

18.  Human trafficking means taking people to
foreign countries or to places in the country
itself through allurements,coercion or
duboious means.
 After taking such helpless and innocent
persons to a new place, they are sold or
involved in compulsory and harduous tasks
or sexually exploited.
 Many individuals and several organisations in
the garb of social work are found to be
involved in this ignoble business.

In Indian slavery, forced labour and bonded
labour are illegal.
 Victims of human trafficking are mostly
women and children.
 Children are sold for sexual exploitation .
 Children are kidnapped and sold for organ
transplants, smuggling, training in terrcrist
camps and even for begging.
 To eradicate human trafficking, adopting
Indian children bonafides of adopting couple
and their social and financial status are
scrutinised before allowing adoption. The
adopting foreign couple should send
periodical reports about their adopted
children to the orphanage and also to the
district magistrate.
