1. Refurbishment Inventory Control Supervisor
Leads, directs and coordinates activities throughout the Refurbishing Operations Center in order to obtain optimum
efficiency and economy of operations. The primary business outcome of this role is to minimize inventory
shrinkage and variations in order to maximize profits. In addition, the Supervisor analyzes the performance of the
team, driving and measuring productivity throughout their department, and ensures service expectations are
achieved or exceeded. This position works under the guidance of a Manager, interacting with him / her several
times a day to receive feedback and direction.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise a group of Inventory Control associates that consists of up to 40 non-exempt employees along with 6
non-exempt leads and serve as a leader / mentor to the team.
• Lead, monitor and supervise the daily activities of the assigned process area(s), including those of the area
Leads and other associates.
• Oversee transportation operations for movement of materials between the Refurbishment Operations Center, the
Distribution Center and the Annex Storage Building.
• Ensure that all power equipment operators in the Refurbishment Operations Center are functional at all times.
• Define and improve processes, standards, and guidelines; ensure all area associates adhere to documented
processes.
• Minimize expenses and maximize process output and accuracy using Lean Manufacturing or other analytical
tools.
• Support a team building environment and create a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing and collecting
data from regular operations.
• Create reports on departmental performance and communicate key metrics / results to management and team.
• Interview, hire, and develop associates, providing coaching and guidance as needed to allow for maximum
performance of the individual and team.
• Communicate all issues to management that could result in process delays, safety issues, or otherwise cause a
loss to the company or its associates.
• Consistent with the general nature of this role, work collaboratively with others throughout the Refurbishment and
Distribution Centers to achieve or exceed department objectives.
• Follow all known safety procedures and utilize good operational, loss prevention and safety judgment at all times.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education and/or Experience)
• Accredited two-year (Associate) degree with three years of experience in a leadership role or high school diploma
(or GED) with five years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment required. Accredited
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations or Business Administration preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a lead, supervisory or other type of leadership role required
• Must be able to lift and carry boxes, totes and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed (infrequent
basis).
• Must be able to stand, bend and lift for up to eight or more hours daily
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
• Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written English — bilingual
English/Spanish communication skills preferred
• Proficient knowledge of Windows-based business computers and Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Excel,
Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others; conducts working relationships in a manner
acceptable to others and to the organization
