OCCUPATIONAL REVELATION
• Managing overall accounting activities i.e. proper and timely closure of books of accounts and finalization of books
of accounts for final auditing and management review.
• Coordination with the Internal Auditors for finalization of their scope, audit program for the year, attending to their
queries and suggestions and finally implementation of corrective action for improvement in future.
• Facilitating and coordinating with both the external and internal audit.
• Leading the development of actions plans based on both external and internal audit recommendations and monitor
progress on achievements.
• Looking after Treasury Management, Negotiating with banks for arrangement of Facility arrangement both fund
based as well as non fund based.
• Checking of all documents under Letter of Credit before giving acceptance to the bank so that they are in
compliance as per the terms and conditions of Letter of Credit established; managing optimal utilization of Letter of
Credit, Bid Bonds and Bills Refinanced against Letter of Credit limits.
• Analyzing existing accounting procedures/ systems and restructuring them, if necessary to attain optimum efficiency
levels.
• Ensuring statutory compliance and take strong action wherever exception found.
• Reviewing cases of emergency cash purchases at regular interval of time.
• Handling commercial operations by screening the credentials of parties before issuing Tender Documents, quoted
prices of bidders and vetting of Estimates for proposal of contracts.
• Monitoring the quantities being executed against the given BOQ to have a close watch against the progress being
made and whether the estimate prepared is correct or tentative.
• Conducting a feasibility study of the project before finally vetting it and sending it for approval to the competent
authority.
• Controlling & reviewing of all excise records. Checking and filling of RT-12 on monthly basis.
• Calculation of Advance Tax of the company and ensuring timely deposit of the same.
• Ensuring timely issuance of tax saving declaration forms to employees for obtaining their investment plans during
the financial year.
• Filling all tax deducted at source returns with the authorities within the due dates.
• Overseeing entire income tax related affairs like filing of annual returns, assessment, issuance of Form-16 & 16A,
Tax audit and liaison with tax authorities.
• Monitoring the Sales Tax process preparation and ensuring the timely issuance of all TDS certificates, submission of
quarterly returns of sales made and sales tax deducted, deposit of sales tax at different branches, issuance of
different sales tax forms, sales tax assessment in different states, liaison with sales tax authorities, etc.
• Handling Service tax activities and the audits conducted by Central excise department.
• Ensuring timely deposit of taxes and filling of half yearly returns.
• Managing all aspects of Payroll accounting and ensure on-time preparation of salary and making provisions for
benefits/ deductions in books of accounts.
• Preparing project feasibility reports and profitability analysis and expansion activities.
• Conduct periodic inventory and WIP valuations and making provision for the same in books of accounts.
• Coordinate with all concerned departments for the preparation of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) as well as Monthly
Operating Plan (MOP) & monitoring the MOP on monthly basis for sales, variable cost, overheads, financial charges
etc. with proper analysis and reasoning for management review discussion.
• Reviewing compliance to the budgetary plans and conducting variance analysis.
• Preparing analytical reports on the status of business.
• Coordinating and ensuring timely preparation of various monthly MIS including statutory compliance reports.
• Review of Monthly MIS and Statutory reports; taking actions on exceptions before final presentation to the
Management.
